The Holga "Blackbird, Fly"- just what the market has been crying out for, a new twin lens 35mm film camera. For quiet, reflective framing, hold the camera at waist level and look down. For fast action, use the sportsfinder in the top of the camera. The photographer can change from a standard 35mm format to a 24x24 format by using a different mask which is provided. Remove the mask entirely and expose to a 36x36 square format which exposes to the edge of the film (incorporating the sprocket holes into the exposure). The camera has a 1/125th second shutter speed, two f stops, a bulb mode and allows multiple exposures on a single frame. At only $149, the photographer gains a lot of creative capability and a lot of attention.

NEW PRODUCTS ANNOUNCED
Canon added the 18MP EOS 7D DSLR to its line-up today. The camera utilizes an APS-C sized CMOS sensor and the company’s proprietary Dual DIGIC 4 image processors to capture ISO up to 12800 and speeds of up to 8fps. Canon has redesigned the DSLR with this model. The 7D features a new cross-type 19-point AF system, new Intelligent Viewfinder that provides 100% coverage, and new 63-zone metering system. The EOS 7D can capture full HD video at 30p, 24p, and 25p with an array of manual controls for video capture. The camera’s body is dust and weather resistant with a shutter durability of up to 150,000 cycles.

PRICE CHANGES
The price for the Nikon D700 body has been lowered to $2699.95.
Ilford announced a price increase of 4 to 6% for black & white film and darkroom papers effective this October.
